Hi Mentors,  Must compliment you for all the time and effort you give advising people with their multiple problems on here. Much appreciated by everyone I am sure.

Just asking after eBays latest big changes with their Simple delivery, Buyer protection cons recently introduced, that everyone not happy about, looks they have done it to benefit themselves moneywise and given them more control posting items with these blasted labels what was wrong old way using postage stamps?

Asking with all the extra complaints and questions you must be getting about these new changes do you think you will carry on the good work? more so if you do not agree with what they are doing yourselves, probably think twice about it myself unless I got a gold clock end of the year.

Good question!

If I stop selling completely I would very rapidly get out of touch with ebay’s money making schemes, and feel I would not be able to answer questions. So while I can sell (that is a joke now) and avoid the awful complicated postage being forced on private sellers, I will continue as a Mentor.

Note it is only private sellers, being expected to use the so called Simple Postage, they would not dare risk losing big business customers. It is small sellers they want rid of.

Hi John,  Think you are right unfortunately I am one of these small insignificant private sellers

They have got rid of me already, also me losing interest coming back on for another try.

I do not fancy having to print and use these labels, not when I have drawer full of stamps to use.

Can always say I remember buying and selling on eBay was easy and much more rewarding!

Although it doesn't appear so from the boards at the moment,  there are plenty of non SD related issues that we can continue to help with.

I have largely given up answering on SD related posts until it settles down to something I understand!

Hi, I agree the mentors are doing their best and can only advise us on what they know and how it was done buying and selling before these latest changes. they have not changed everything.

I for one feel a bit sorry for them because they like us don't really understand the reason why eBay have made such a *bleep* up with this new system especially when it worked perfectly before.

Surely they can see sales will go down just so they make bit more cash for themselves if they do happen! 

Cannot see anything changing myself so one will have to take it or leave it and move on.
