I’m sure this has happened to others but in 10+ years, this is the first time it’s happened to me. I’ve had a return request from a buyer who bought two items (skirt and shirt). I mark that I don’t accept returns. She says they don’t fit her but I marked clearly the measurements in the postings saying even stating in the title that the shirt was oversized and made clear that the skirt was bigger than the marked size and advised people to check measurements before buying. She is pleading that she can’t afford to keep them. I am a good eBayer with 100% record, I am understanding of the situation (haven’t we all bought things that don’t fit?) but what should I do. Also, if I do decide to accept a return, how do I get her to pay for postage. I don’t want my record to be blemished with an unfavourable review either. Any advice welcomed.

"Doesn't fit" is a change of mind return where buyer pays the return postage. As a private seller you don't have to accept those returns, you could suggest she resell them herself. But if you decide to accept she must return first, paying for the postage.
If she's used "Doesn't fit" as the reason on the ebay return request she will be instructed by ebay to pay the cost of postage.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll sleep on it but as I was so clear in my description, I’m inclined to refuse. I would just simply sell on if I bought something that didn’t fit. Half the fun of eBay!
