My account was restricted over 10 years ago, my account say 300 limit or 7k yet when I lost it says I’m not allowed. The account was restricted because I had some negative feedback yet over 300 items sold with no feedback! If them people had of given it my account would be fine. Any ideas, my feedback is now showing at 100% good

It certainly does not say ' Unregistered User' ,  so you may have had a temporary,  not permanent restriction.

To sell on eBay you need to register for eBay's Managed Payments, if you are successful with this , you will be able to sell again on eBay.

See here:

You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified.  The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive,  and confirm to eBay.

Once this is completed,  you will be able to list items for sale,  and receive payouts from those sales.

This will show you how to register for eBay's Managed Payments.

If there is an issue with the registration contact eBay Customer Services,  who have full access to your account,  and can see where the issue lies and explain the steps you now need to take.

Contact them this way.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Do you want to sell on the site again?
A lot has changed since you last sold.

As stated, you will need to add a bank account and you will not be able to list items for sale while your feedback is set as private.

Thanks, how do I change the private feedback?

Making your feedback public or private

We strongly encourage everyone to keep all their feedback information public. It helps you earn the trust of other eBay members, increasing the likelihood that they’ll trade with you.

If you want to sell on eBay, your feedback must be visible to everyone.

If you choose to make your feedback private, you won’t be able to sell items on eBay and the feedback you’ve left and received will be hidden from other members. However, your overall number of positive, neutral, and negative feedback ratings will still be displayed.

Here’s how to change who can see your feedback:

  1. Go to your feedback profile - opens in new window or tab.
  2. Scroll down to the All received feedback section and set the toggle to either Visible to everyone or Hide.

I have tried to add payment details but it says I can’t because the account is restricted.
