Report on purchase

I was delighted with my purchase which was a coin listed as 2star rarity.  In fact it was wrongly listed and was one of 3star rarity.  I have twice been asked to report on my purchase but don't know how to answer the questions as posed.

Report on purchase

When you state you've  been  asked to ' report on your purchase' ,   do you mean eBay sent you a message to leave feedback?  It's a standard message sent to everyone, and feedback is totally voluntary,  you do not have to leave any.

You say it's not as described,  but that you are happy with it?  Does this mean you do not wish to return it for a refund ?

I appreciate that I do not have to leave feedback, but it was quite an expensive purchase and I am concerned that the seller will wonder why I haven't.  The feedback questions don't cover such a situation and there is no space for an explanatory comment.

Sorry Tressygirl I thought I had replied !

It was quite an expensive purchase and I was worried that the seller would
be concerned if I did not give feedback. It was a silver token coin
referenced by the seller as one of 2* rarity. I identified it as a similar
one that was actually 3* rarity. In view of these circumstances, I could
not work out how to complete the feedback questions. There was no facility
for explanations.

First of all I suggest you edit your communication preferences to sttop future reminders about leaving feedback.

With your present problem, without going into details in the feedback you leave, it is never a good idea to ramble on, just best to keep it brief, the DSRs being the place to show what you think of purchase, and marking down accurate description would be appropriate.

  • Accurate description
I must admit that if there are ratings 2star and 3star, it does sound technical and open to differences of opinion.
