Removing an image after a bid has been pleaced

Hi there

I posted a car ad the other day and I need to take down an image for security reasons.

Someone has bid on the car now so I can't revise the photography.

Who or How should I contact ebay to remove this image?

Many Thanks

You cannot,  once a bid has been placed,  no detail / photo can be amended or removed.

To add,   if it's vital for it not to be seen , you can end the listing,  but you will pay the non refundable listing fee as this payable sale or no sale,  and charged the second the item goes live.

you will pay the non refundable listing fee

Unless the rules have changed, if any bid has been placed you will also pay a final value fee based on the highest bid at the time you end the listing.

(This issue hardly ever arises now that private sellers don't pay any fvf for most auctions.)

What might cause you a problem with eBay is that you included your phone number in the listing asking buyers to contact you.
