Refund on postage label ordered by accident

Hi it seems I have accidently got a postage label when just trying to views the buyers address. 

It was my mistake for clicking but I just needed to view the address 

It has been charged to me in my ebay transactions, is there any way of me getting refund or is this a live and learn? 

Also is there an easy way to see a buyers address as I always pay postage myself and never use labels? thanks

The last two items you have sold have been sold with Simple Delivery.

So, as you offer free postage, you will be charged for the label as soon as you access it, the tracking will be added from that label and the item will be shown as despatched.

I believe there is a way for you to get a refund - see the link below - but it won't be instant and you won't be able to change the tracking so you will have to wait to get paid.

The only way to access the buyer's address is by opening the label so, if you choose not to use Simple Delivery, this will be a recurrent problem.

Why not just use the Ebay issued label?

I don't no the exact or dimensions of the stuff I sold and I would go rather to the post office and have it weighed and pay exactly what I supposed to etc 

On phone to ebay now

It is annoying that I cannot simply see my buyers address

I don't understand why you are speaking to Ebay?
Simple Delivery is becoming mandatory across the site.

If you choose not to use it, then the problems you have will recur every time you sell.

The nice lady on the phone sorted it for me but of course I need to be mindful going forward

I was speaking to them to see if I could get a refund for my mistake as the labels were not used. 
The chat assistant would be no use for that. 

I would just rather go to the post office and have them do it all correctly and be paying exactly what I am supposed to be.
