hello everytime i close and re open ebay it shows my ebay name but says sign in even if i tick stay signed in for example when i open ebay if i want to see watch list i have to enter my password. it does show my ebay name when i sign in but i have to keep entering my password everytime and its getting very annoying thanks martin

Go to the Accounts tab on your My ebay page the Site Preferences--General preferences and the Keep me signed into this computer

If that does not work then 

Try clearing cookies and cache by clicking on the Ctrl Shift and Delete keys on your computer

Restart your computer 

If that does not help then try another browser like Firefox or Chrome
