Ripped off and no ebay help.

Hi.
Recently purchased an item
and upon arrival it was faulty.
Contacted seller who agreed to replace it. However, he requested that I close my case with ebay as I could easily keep both the faulty item, the new one and then also get my cash refunded. I agreed to this like an idiot and guess what..... no replacement ever turned up.
As I closed the case I can now not reopen it and it is a nightmare trying to get through to ebay.
Once again, let down by their poor practices and policies.

you weren't let down by ebay,

 

 

you are the one that closed the case, ebay didn't do that,

 

 

the systems are in place, ebay cannot force you to use them properly.

 

you can only open one case per item,
