Ebay is refusing refund.

I purchase a pair of shoes from ebay and later received an email suggesting the seller account has been compromised.

however, ebay will not allow us to open a dispute and paypal redirect me to ebay to open a dispute.

So now I am left with nowhere to turn apart from calling my credit card company.

 

Why is ebay not allowing me to open dispute? they have in the past when dealing with similar case.

 

Very dissapointed with ebay... the service is deteriorating repaidly from when it first started.

You should open a case on Pay Pal... if it's not letting you do so online then call their Customer Services. You have 180 days from date of sale to open a case on pay pal.

 

If the seller account has been hacked or the seller is no longer registered then all listings are ended ...including items that are sold.
