Clothes sizes not as described, do I need to pay return postage?

I recently bought a waistcoat which said in the advert UK/US XL. When it has arrived, it's more like a medium.

I've contacted the seller and they have offered me a 30% refund rather than send it back. Then a 50% and 60% refund.

My understanding is that the buyer has to pay for returns if the size is wrong, however surely this item is not as described and the seller should pay for returns?

Please can anyone help?

Thanks

Philip

Sounds like you bought from China? Their sizes are much smaller than ours. Open an Item Not As Described Case in Ebay to get your Money back. You will have to Pay for the Return Tracked Postage though. Ignore everything the Seller says, they are famous for running you out of time, offering Partial Refunds to change feedback and asking you to close the Case before they Refund, then they don't. Stick to the Case and follow the timelines, you can Escalate to Ebay on day 9.
