Product Recall

Ebay messaged me last night to say some axle stands i bought are dangerous and not to be used and have also removed the listing.

Ive contacted the seller to ask for some kind off proof these products are certified to the standard they should be who just replied the product is fine and they have maliciously been reported by a competitor.

What am I supposed to do now?  Not really a piece of kit you don't want to have any trust in?

Ebay does not send this sort of message as a result of a report by a competitor. 

They are recall notices prompted by government safety checks.  

If you bought them within the last 30 days you can use the money back guarantee to return for a refund.  Alternatively try your funding source.

Ebay only pass message on, it won't be a report from competitors. 

Ebay only help if within 30 days of buying.

Depending when you bought item, your payment provider may help or contact citizens advice.
