I have over 1000 dvd's listed on e bay, and some blu rays. DVD's are priced at £1, and blu rays priced at £1.50.
I logged into my page to add more, yet the prices on the Listing has changed, to £1.76 for dvd's and £2.28 for blu rays. I didn't make these changes, yet that's what they are advertised at. If i open a listing, the original prices i charged are there, but on the listings, they show the new prices. any ideas why this happened anyone? so damn annoying

It is the new buyer protection fee - being rolled out from February 4th.
It adds 4% + 75p to every item, in certain categories, for private sellers.
Eventually, the fee will be added to all categories.
Check your emails - all sellers were messaged regarding this on January 3rd.

Another seller mentioned there postage cost had changed/been lowered but on there listing it remained as they had selected
Ebay said it was a site issue???

So it's a new way to screw private sellers? i've been selling the dvd's with some profit going to the RNLI for years, with a 99.5% positive feedback. this new fee takes my prices way higher than business sellers, which will price me out, making me lose sales, this sucks big time

The new buyer protection price changes only apply to private sellers and your selling as a Business seller so look to upgrade your account to carry on selling.

I've just upgraded to business account, hopefully the prices will change back to how they were, and i won't have to manually do this, as i have way to many items, and not much time available to change everything manually. thanks for all your help guys

Well done and all the best.
Many buyers actually prefer to buy from business sellers.
If the old BP prices still show, allow 24 hrs for the site to update, and then contact ebay if they don't

I do hope you signed up for at least a 'featured' shop(£77+VAT) when you changed to business otherwise each listing will be charged 30p+VAT and you have over 1500
