Prepaid QR code would not be accepted by Post Office

I recently attended the Post Office with the parcel to send to the buyer using the prepaid QR Code.

The Post Office said the parcel was too heavy and had to be sent via Parcel Force so I could not pay the difference, they made me pay the full amount and said I should be able to be reimbursed for the postage paid by the buyer from eBay.

I have not used the QR code, the buyer has paid an additional £7.99 - I am out of pocket for £19.95 postage and want to know if I can atleast receive the £7.99 to offset the amount I have paid.

Advice greatly appreciated as the automated robot on the eBay site does not understand my query.

Go to orders, select Postage Labels on the left-hand side, then go to the actions dropdown menu next to the label and select Void Label.

As you bought your own postage remember to add the tracking number and mark dispatched manually via the dropdown actions arrow for the item on your orders page.
