Posting

Hi. I posted an item not using eBay (the buyers address details were not fully filled out and when I contacted him for the details I could not put them in). The buyers address has the item and has left positive feedback BUT I still have a post now overdue alert on my sold item list plus eBay have charged their postage.
any help with this much appreciated

Re: Posting

If you triggered but did not use a Simple delivery label,  this would have marked the item as dispatched, below is how to receive a refund for the unused label.

Unfortunately, just recently,  eBay have disallowed updating tracking if not using Simple Delivery  , you may have to wait a minimum of 14 days for the payout for that item.  The messages to post will soon stop.

For any unused Simple delivery labels:

  • If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

  • If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.
