Postage fees deducted from my balance

I have sold a few items on eBay. I have always selected buyer pays for postage. At first, that was fine and I received prepaid postage labels. However, recently I have been charged to generate postage labels and the funds have been deducted from my balance. Am I doing something wrong?

Buyer never buys postage, they pay cost to you and you pay.

In the past have you just received the NET amount paid by buyer, and now you receive the GROSS amount, so postage cost has to be deducted from account.

If you set postage cost, buyer pays you for item and postage,

You use this money to buy postage through ebay/packlink or from carrier.

Or If using simple delivery, buyer pays you for item only and ebay supply link to print postage label.
