Postage deducted from ebay balance

Hi, can anybody please help.  When item is sold I understood that buyer pays the postage charge direct  to eBay and not the seller.  So why have the 11 parcels I have just printed out the lables for all been deducted from my seller available balance.  I'm so confused. Any help appreciated.

As you are clearly an unregistered business seller, private sellers are getting rid of unwanted items.

Upgrade to business then you can choose your own postage method.

Buyers on ebay pay them postage if using simple delivery.

The  buyer only pays the postage to ebay if you listed with Simple Delivery.

Hi, thank you for your response that's why I'm asking about this as I have listed using SD so why are the postage showing as being deducted from my available balance.  Sorry if I've missed or not understood something.

If you just printed the labels ebay provided to you under SD then you can't have paid for them and they would not have been deducted from your balance.

I think you may have misunderstood something.
