Postage Refunds

Hi All

Any help appreciated as i can speak to anyone on the phone about this.

i sold 3 books to the same buyer (3 seperate listings). They asked for combined postage, i said thats fine. They made offers which i accepted and they went ahead and paid. It charged them 3 times for postage. I have refunded 2 of the postages, HOWEVER from what i can see, they paid ebay the postage not me.  

So, postage was taken out of my funds yet they paid postage to ebay.

Do ebay not refund the postage now that i have refunded the buyer?  This means they got the items a lot cheaper and i make less money.

Buyers automatically receive a refund from eBay for any unused Simple Delivery postage labels within 30 days.    All you can do is explain that to them and ask them to repay what you refunded them.   That would be outside of eBay so they'd need to use something like Paypal or bank transfer.

The postage labels for each book have been generated, but ill only be using one of them.  Will they still get refunded from ebay as well as the postage refund ive given them ?

Yes.   Because you refunded from the item price.   The cost of postage was separate.    See if the buyer will pay you back.
