Pending item after accepting buyer’s offer

Hi,

I accepted an offer on an item I am selling but payment has not been made, the listing seems to still be live and the payment is just sitting under ‘pending’. I’m unable to send a payment request (as far as I can see) and I can’t see how I can message the buyer. What’s going on here please, has the buyer changed their mind or just not made payment yet?

It means that immediate payment was required when  you accepted the offer, so without payment the sale is in limbo, and someone else could buy, as item is still live.

This is one of ebay’s “improvements” to cut down number of non payers, who waste sellers time by buying and not paying. Sellers can opt out of this, but it is true, you are not having your time wasted as item is still  available for sale.
