Non Paying / Non responsive buyer.

How do you leave a CONTINUOUS Non Paying / Non Responsive Buyer 'NEGATIVE' feedback on E'Bay now? I have had yet another winning bid on a product that the buyer has not paid for and is not responding to messages.  Reading her feedback she is doing exactly the same to other sellers on this website and yet E'bay is doing nothing about her.  She has been 'blocked' from my site but other sellers need to know to either cancel any bids she makes on their products / not trade with her or risk going through the same ordeal as several other sellers.

Non Paying / Non responsive buyer.

Really, you can only take care of your own selling account, other sellers will need to be savvy enough to do the same. All the ones that left feedback have enabled them to carry on not paying.

After 4 days you can cancel and select the reason as 'buyer didn't pay’ (eBay works in 24hr cycles so the option won’t be available until 4 x 24hrs have passed). There’s a link on this eBay page:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/getting-paid/resolving-unpaid-items-buyers?id=4137&st=12&pos=1&q...

The non-payer can't leave feedback and gets a non-payment strike against their account, which sticks to it for a year.

Don't be tempted to leave feedback for a non-payer - it can only be positive and will enable them to remove the strike they receive.

Set your Buyer Requirements to block bidders with two or more non-payment strikes in the last 12 months and add them to your Blocked Buyer List with this link:

Ebay has an effective process.

After 4 complete days, so on day 5 after the sale, you will get the option to cancel using the reason 'buyer did not pay'.  If you cancel for that reason, neither buyer nor seller can leave feedback.

The buyer will then get a non-payment strike on their account which lasts for a whole year.

Sellers can set up their accounts to block bidders with 2 or more such strikes.

Leaving negative comments with a positive feedback 'green dot' is pointless and breaks Ebay feedback rules.

If previous sellers had followed the right procedure, and you had set up your account to block members with 2 or more strikes, this person would not have been able to buy from you.

Here's how to set up your buyer requirements:

  1. Go to Buyer Management - opens in new window or tab.
  2. Decide which requirements you’d like to apply to your listings, and enter any details requested.
  3. To have settings apply to all active and future listings, select Apply above settings to active and future listings. Otherwise your settings will apply only to future listings.
  4. By default, blocked buyers are still able to contact you about your listings. If you don’t want buyers blocked by your requirements to contact you, select Don’t allow blocked buyers to contact you in Site Preferences (they may still be able to get in touch with you through an Item Not Received case or a Return if it’s about an existing transaction). Then select Submit.

adding to the adsvice already given -

"yet E'bay is doing nothing about her"

why should eBay do anything as everyone is happy.

The buyer did not want to pay and did not, the sellers left positive feedback indicating they were happy not to get paid etc.

If the sellers were not happy they should have followed proper procedure.
