Like many others I not have received any points for my (marked as qualifying) purchases in April. I've been back and forth between Nectar and Ebay who do nothing but blame each other like children. Ebay have "escalated" my case four times now, I think. I never hear anything so I have to chase it weekly using the online chat. It's become a bit of a hobby.
The most recent development for me was that Ebay decided only three of my five purchases qualify (although five are marked in green as being part of the promotion).
But do I have the 500 points for those three purchases? No, of course not.
The word scam comes to mind, or perhaps "totally inept". Either way it's an apalling way to treat customers and shows nothing but greed and contempt.
Seems to me Nectar/Ebay didn't properly assess how many points they'd end up giving out to everyone and are now desperately trying to avoid fulfilling their side of promotion.
Has anyone actually managed to get this sorted out? How?

An update on this...
Ebay agree that I have three purchases that meet the criteria (within the time period, over £10 and purchased using the mobile app). They kindly emailed some info they got from Nectar.
It seems Nectar are now accusing me of having mutiple Ebay accounts (I have one and it's 21 years old) linked to the same Nectar card and they added some guff about how they can't issue the bonus points for purchases from multiple Ebay accounts. They haven't told ME this, just Ebay.
It's laughable. If I had multiple Ebay accounts going to the same Nectar card it would be absolutely trivial to check (how could you even set that up?). I've written to Nectar ( nectar_helpline@custhelp.com ) disputing this and requesting evidence to back up this peculiar assertion of theirs. I've also asked them to provide evidence that my purchases do not meet their criteria. That should be interesting because I've already given them every single bit of information about my purchases: Item, ebay number, price paid, date of purchase, seller name, and delivery date.
Particularly laughable because all other normal points and bonus points from Ebay (double points etc) get issued as normal. It's just this promotion where they have a problem, but don't seem to know quite what that problem is.
I have rarely, if ever, come across such an absolute debacle of customer service. Nectar do it all... Bullying, ignoring, withholding information, decisions made on a whim rather than evidence.
I look forward to their next risible excuse, if they contact me at all.

A quick update…
After months of chasing this with Nectar and providing details over and over again, they finally gave me my 500 points today.
No explanation, just 500 “goodwill” points.
And only 7 months late.
