Hello everyone,
I need help understanding an issue with my eBay account region and currency.
I originally created my eBay account on eBay.com in 2024 as a buyer. Last month, I switched to selling and listed one item on eBay.com (without any store subscription). I later ended that listing and decided to start selling on eBay.co.uk instead.
This month, I created two new listings directly on eBay.co.uk, again without any store subscription. Both listings are active.
However, I am facing a problem:
When I open my eBay.co.uk seller dashboard, the currency still shows USD, even though I am now selling on the UK site and using the UK marketplace. I have not taken any store subscription yet.
My question is:
Why is my UK seller dashboard showing USD currency? And how can I change it to GBP while selling on eBay.co.uk?
Does this require a region change, payout update, or store subscription?
Any guidance from the community would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I am a UK buyer/seller and can't see any listings on your account.
As you are based in Pakistan, you may need to ask Ebay this question.

Hi @sha_074 ,
Thank you for your post.
If you originally registered your account on .com and listed an item for sale then your account site registration will remain as the US. It cannot be changed to the UK.
Thank you,
Kat

Hi @sha_074 ,
You can try and change the domain on your browser to .co.uk once logged in and this may show you the sterling details but as your account is registered on the .com site it may default back to dollars.
Thank you,
Kat
