I was purchasing an item on eBay and had agreed on a discount with the seller. However, instead of accepting the counteroffer, I mistakenly clicked the “Buy Now” button, which was highlighted in blue. I assumed that button would accept the counteroffer, but it actually completed the purchase at the original (non-discounted) price.
I noticed the mistake later and contacted the seller. He confirmed his discounted offer but advised me to resolve the issue through eBay. I can’t find a straightforward way to request a refund for the price difference.
Does anyone know how to resolve this situation?
