I recently ordered a Memorial Granite Head Stone, which the front of it is looks as if it has been chaffed against something. I sent a screenshot of it to the seller, who informed me that it just looks dusty and to give it a polish and it would come off. How can you remove chaffed marks?
He also tells me that as the order was delivered to an address in November I should of notified him soon after, however when placing my order I told him that as I lived overseas, and unfortunately the ship to my Country was delayed and I did not receive the Headstone until last week. I feel totally let down by this seller, because what happened to the item was not through the packing, but before it was packed.

I am so sorry this has happened to such a precious, important item for you.
However, eBay's rules are rigid, there are 30 days only to claim for a refund when an item is received damaged.
Unfortunately, you are out of time too, to claim from your payment provider, or to leave appropriate feedback for the seller, too much time has passed, sorry.

Yep, some sellers, are just bad communicators. However, there is also a technical issue some are experiencing with messages not being sent through. Not trying to make excuses for this seller, but it could be the case?
BTW, my friend has just come back from the Falklands took a ' trip' there! Loved it ! 🤗
