Lost Evri parcel

Hi I sold an item buyer chose simple delivery via Evri - I printed the label posted via local evri shop but tracking wasn't updated and parcel never arrived! Ebay refunded now I'm out of pocket for the item as its missing!!  Apparently my fault 

Can I claim compensation no help from Evri

Did buyer open a Not received case, if so Ebay refunds NOT YOU, so you should not be out of pocket.

Ebay refunded but I've lost the item!! Wondering where I claim compensation- if it was direct from evri or Royal mail you can claim for lost parcel

If ebay refunded and you kept the payment then you've still got the value of the item.   The courier contract is with ebay, not you, so you cannot claim anything from them.

No I didn't keep the payment ebay took it back from my balance so I had no money and now have lost the item!!

You are posting contradictory information.

If ebay refunded (with their money), it cannot also have gone from your balance.

Did you get an email from ebay saying the buyer had 'reached out' about their purchase but as it was simple delivery ebay would deal with it?
