My order was delivered to the collection point, the tracking shows delivered and the courier has emailed to say it was delivered.
However, I have not been sent a collection code; the original email says I must have the collection code to collect my parcel.
I have checked messages and spam. I also requested an SMS message and that has not arrived.
This happened with a different order to a different collection point a short time ago, again I was never sent a collection code. I contacted eBay phone support and they advised the collection point would give me the parcel without it (and they did).
But this is a different collection point, I'm concerned they may refuse to give me the parcel without the 6-digit code.
Order number is 12-13641-11480
What should I do?
Mike

Ask ebay if it can be re-sent. You can request a callback on here:

According to eBay support the collection code has not been sent because the collection point has not scanned the parcel in, and this can take up to *three* days. I was totally unaware it could take that long and it seems to make the extra I paid for fast delivery a bit pointless.
Not sure if I should try going to the collection point and asking if they can scan my parcel in now so I can get a code or if they will refuse.
The last time this happened the support desk told me to just collect without the 6-digit code. So that's two different answers about the exact same problem.
Finding this rather stressful and it's putting me off buying in future.

So that's what I did, thanks.
Waited 24 hours, still no collection code, so I went to the collection point and they scanned it in, and within a few seconds I got the collection code through from eBay so they scanned that and I got my parcel (id required this time - it wasn't requested at the previous collection point I used).
Okay, that's not so bad once you know they are able and willing to do that, but really I think they should be scanning in parcels either as soon as they arrive or if they're busy, within a few hours, so you get the collection code the same day.
The order email clearly states you need the collection code, so folks (who may have paid for expedited postage like me) will be hanging around waiting until the collection point finally gets round to scanning. I still don't know how long it would have been before they scanned if I hadn't gone there and asked them.
