Hello!
I sent an item to a buyer through simple delivery. Allegedly Evri were “unable to deliver”. Now the tracker on eBay says that the item is on its way back to me. It’s been 3 days since the last update. The buyer is not happy and neither am I. Both Evri and eBay seem to think that customer service is best provided by a self-satisfied chat bot which goes around in circles.
So much for simple delivery.
Can anyone help?

Ask the buyer to open a "not received" case then ebay will issue the refund and you keep the payment.

Thank you for the advice. The buyer has told me that they can’t open a case until 10/12.
Is that standard, do you know?

They have to wait until the last estimated deilvery date has passed.
