Item damaged in transit

Hi, the item I sent was damaged in transit and is on hold with evri. I tried contacting evri but couldn't get through. I contacted eBay and they directed me to packlink and when I tried to make a claim it wouldn't work. I recontacted eBay and they confirmed the details I put in for the claim were correct and said they contacted packlink and I'd get contacted by them in 5-7 days which I haven't yet. What do I do? I can't even get through to a person at packlink.

You first must deal with your buyer and their refund.

 

Ask them to open a case for item not as described.  You must accept this case within 3 days,  and refund or if you want your item sending back first,  you pay for that tracked return label,  and once the item is back with you,  you have 48 hours to refund,  through those case details.

 

Stick within those timeframes,  and your seller performance is not affected.

 

Then,  as you bought your postage through eBay you make a claim with Packlink here:
