Hello, I’m selling for the est time in a long time and appear to have made an error. I’ve listed books and GA e the option of international shipping. I remember measuring and weighing the books and adding an international carriage charge. I also GAve a UK postage and the free to collect option. I’ve sold four of the books (separate sales) to a buyer in Austria. They tell me they can’t pay for the auctions as there is no option to pay for international postage. We’ve agreed a combined postage for the four sales but I’ve no idea how to add this to the invoice. Can I still get these books to the buyer and add the agreed carriage charge??

If you are sure you wish to post these together, being aware you will only have one tracking number, so leaving yourself open for the buyer to claim some items were missing, as long as the buyer hasn't paid for any of the items, this is how to send a combined invoice with an international postage charge.
Go right of the item sold to More Actions, and select Send payment Details, all items will appear on the one invoice, amend the International postage there to that required, but do not click on reset. Check it is correct, and send .
If you are on the Seller Hub, you click on the item in Orders >> Awaiting Payment, then top left you will see send Invoice, follow the above instructions.

Hi there, thanks for getting back to me but neither of the options you mention are available to me. I don’t think I’m being dumb

When I click on send invoice I’m greeted with this message
”invoices cannot be sent for items where eBay manages all or part of the postage. These items are excluded from this invoice”

It might be easier with agreement of buyer, to cancel the four sales and relist sll four together as a BIN for buyer to buy again.
To prevent another buyer jumping in, make the title different to put off others, something like reserved for ‘fred’ followed by brief details ‘four books’.
Avoid getting involved with ebay postage, quote your own, ebay is too inflexible as you have found.
