How to get refund without posting back an item

I agreed with the seller that they will refund the damaged item to me, but they said that they don't want it back and I can dispose of it. I was unable to find an option on ebay to refund without going through the hassle of returning. Is there a way to tell ebay that the seller doesn't need me to post the item back?

The seller can just issue a refund from their end.    Or you can start a return but the seller still gets the option to refund without return.
