Hi, I've realised I've bought from a new seller. I'm a bit apprehensive if it will get sent out or if they're even recently active as it was a BIN listing that last a month
How long do private sellers get to post out before I can cancel for that reason?
I've politely asked as I need to know if not I can find another. Its now the second day and not even got the label.
Yes, I know I'm sounding impatient but I atleast like to know to be in for it and I'm a bit desperate for it

Check the email you received from Ebay when you paid.
It will give you a range of estimated delivery dates.
Sellers choose their own despatch time, and it can be as long as 30 days - the estimated delivery date will be on the email and will be based on the seller's despatch time.
You have been correctly informed that buyers can't cancel. You can request to cancel but the seller then has to agree or not.
If the item doesn't arrive, one day after the latest estimated delivery date, you open a case stating you have not received your item. Don't try to cancel an item that is on the way - that will cause confusion and issues especially if the seller is inexperienced.

On every listing it gives the sellers dispatch time and estimates if delivery date.
Buyers cannot cancel, all they can do is ask seller to cancel, but seller is not obliged to do that.
Why do you say “not even got the label”, how would you know, not everyone wants or needs to buy labels from ebay. Much simpler to deal with outside ebay and fewer problems.

They need the label to mark as delivered and receive their money in 2 days
But buyers can cancel, it gives me the option and I did the other day when I bought the wrong thing
