Hi there
so I purchased an item but that evening I cancelled the item.
the seller was fine.
A thing came up on the screen saying you’ve got a refund coming 3-5 days
well where is it because I’ve looked hi and low
all I would like is eBay’s email address but it does seem though it’s not being run by the community which most probably won’t get answered not blaming anyone
it’s just eBay’s way of saving money.
and it’s run by useless bots but you never know they may get upgraded.
so CAN I PLEASE HAVE EBAY EMAIL ADDRESS FOR REFUNDS
AND WHY NOT A PHONE NUMBER PLEAEE WOULD BE HANDY
THANKS
REGARDS

eBay doesn't accept emails and you can't phone them, although you can request a call-back. Not that there's much point in phoning about procedures that are almost entirely automated.
In fact, in this case it doesn't appear that you have to do anything. If eBay has informed you that the seller has cancelled and refunded the purchase it's already in the system.
Take "3 - 5 days" with a pinch of salt. Even when a refund has been issued it may take some time to reach the source from which you funded the payment. Most refunds shouldn't be more than a few days, but credit card refunds can sometimes take up to about four weeks.
For future reference, you can read about the procedures to use follow for refunds and returns here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041

Ebay don't do email.
If ebay say you have refund, it has been processed.
Depending how you funded purchase decides how long it takes to show.
PayPal-instant.
Bank card-7 days.
Credit card-30 days.
