Hand Delivery

I sold a guitar Amplifier head, after accepting an offer from buyer. I delivered the amp by hand and gave to the buyer. He then wrote on ebay saying he'd received it, was very happy with it and gave me positive feedback. But, because I  delivered by hand there was no QR code to scan and ebay is saying the sale is pending, waiting for delivery. The buyer has paid, and the money is showing on my account, but I cant get hold of it, as it says it waiting for delivery.. How do I deal with that? Any advice welcome..thanks

Because there was no QR code there was no way for you to mark the item as delivered so you will have ti wait for up to 3 weeks for your money to be released.

If this scenario happens again you'd be better off cancelling with the buyer's approval, and relisting as Collection only and your buyer buying it again. At least then you'd have the code.

Thank you "Guinevere".  It seems the system could do with altering to accommodate this scenario,  I delivered it by hand to avoid damage to the item by the courier, as its fragile and expensive. 

But at least I know i'll get my money even if it is up to 3 weeks.

Ebay is very rigid and seems to have little knowledge of how to allow buyers and sellers to make their own arrangements for deliveries.
