Free Listings Allowance

Does anybody agree with me that eBay should incrementally increase the amount of free listings whenever they reach a certain feedback target.

Although I'm a private seller, I can get through my allocated 300 free listings very easily, as I have 300 items maximum listed at any one  time and they're constantly being relisted throughout the month, when ended.

Increasing the allowance might also stimulate more transactions and bring in more income for sellers and eBay alike.

To be honest your items would be better off being listed as Buy it Now items.  They have a ceiling level and you have great competition for DVD's the majority of buyers would go to a seller selling them in a BIN format and not having to wait for an auction end.

Listing in a Buy it Now format,  has it's benefits for listing allowance, as when they automatically relist they do not count towards your 300 listing allowance.  In effect if your full 300 allowance relists, in the new month, you would receive another allowance for 300 new listings, so 600 items to have listed, and so on.

I don't agree.

300 listings a month is plenty for a private seller.

If you want to list more items, you can do so - you just have to pay a small fee which is what business sellers have to pay for every listing.

In answer to your question, no I don't agree with you.

300 listings a month for a private seller is more than enough.
