Extra payments taken

I noticed when purchasing an item the other day that there were two additional payments of £1 each taken from my payment method. I took this up with Paypal and although no response the amounts disappeared. I have just ordered another item and the same thing has happened. It's only a small amount I know but does anyone have any idea why and how this is happening? I have not added anything as a charity donation! Thanks

Probably best to ask eBay about this one if £1 is being added to all orders, that's a very round and exact amount.
