Evri lost the package

The postal service lost the parcel. The buyer opened a return request. What do I need to do to avoid losing money and the parcel because it is not my fault. Of the options, I can only write to the buyer or make a return. It says that the parcel has been delivered

Evri lost the package

if the tracking shows delivery to the buyer's address the courier may have left it outside their house and it went missing from there.    That's why the buyer couldn't open a "not received" case.   And their return case won't work because they have nothing to return.    Suggest to them that they ask their neighbours in case someone has taken it in.
