End sale of promoted item.

Is there a charge to end the sale of a promoted item? 
The item has not had any increase in views since promotion.

I suppose it all depends on the form of promotion.

Most promotions only incur a charge when sold, so ending early would be unsold so no charge.

However read the rules relating to the system you are using, as some charge for clicks on item, sold or unsold.

Ebay is a killer, not promoting means no or very few sales, using promotions, same result.
