Am selling on here for the first time in ages....
In creating 2 listings I've come to understand why when I'm using eBay as a buyer it has become so difficult to find what you need locally with foreign sellers being prioritised over UK sellers.
AI already makes the search difficult, returning items that are being "paid promotions" that bear a vague resemblence in words to what you've searched for, but are in rreality completely unrelated.
One knows the items exist - but between paid promotions flooding search results with *bleep*, and AI returning *bleep*, I'm wondering how visible my items for sale will be in reality?
If I'm shopping on Amazon more because it's much easier to find what I'm looking for > How many others will be doing the same?
I've been registered on eBay since 1999 so this isn't a newbie being a grump.
The fees system for selling on eBay used to be simpler than now = promotions and general en*bleep*tification, lack of transparency, lack of ease of use (Asking AI ebay questions about selling returned responses as if I were a buyer - make it make sense), is not encouraging me to more of us (who are not bulk sellers like WeBuyBooks etc....) to list on here....or to buy...
My feeling is: what is the point of being here anymore?
Anyone feel the same or can convince me otherwise?
