Ebay postage is confusing me even though they say it is supposed to be simple

I started a draft today and usually go to custom postage and select Yodel as it is the best value and I can get items to the yodel drop off easier and send them very quickly. But today it has changed and clicking on custom postage just gives me one option that is more expensive and not Yodel. When I go into my postage preferences i am only given Evri and Royal Mail as choices (I can only remove one as that is all it will allow and I’ve had multiple bad experiences sending with both so do not want to use them) and I would like Yodel to be my preference. How do I do this?  I have tried saving the draft and accidentally deleted all my draft selling items (lots) so I’m at the point where I’m really frustrated.

Relist a previous item without Simple Delivery on it and just change the details.

Simple postage charges more than it costs to send with Yodel because EBay defaults to Evri price and does not give the option to change it to Yodel (my nearest Evri drop off was stopped from giving the service because it had so many complaints). EBay lets me select a heavier weight but doesn’t give any options for changing courier. Custom postage is just as bad.

I have figured it out. When listing an item and setting the postage you need to go to the drop down box with the weight ranges in. Scroll down to the bottom of the weight ranges and you will see 2 buttons and one will allow custom postage (I think it is the one on the left). Select that and all the postage requirements and prices to send are there for you to select yourself. Then it’s just a simple job of putting the listing live.

However, if your item doesn’t sell and automatically relists, then eBay will automatically default to their simple postage and they will choose between Evri and The Post Office. You will have to revise the listing and go to the weight ranges again and save your listing.
