Ebay have locked out Android 9 users.

I have noticed today that if l want to continue using eBay's app, l will need to purchase a new phone. It only supports Android 10 upwards, and will simply keep telling you to update the app. This seems a bit crazy. 

I'm hoping eBay will rectify this. 

Literally just left a review with them saying how good the app was compared to Amazon's clunky app. Now l can't use it! I need to use their website in the browser for now, which is nearly as bad as using Amazon.

You are correct the Android 9 does not support the eBay app,  this information was posted a few days ago from a Community Manager.

The latest eBay app version is no longer compatible with android 9 and below. It actually requires OS android 10 and above. If you have another device with android 10 and above you can check the most recently updated eBay app version and see if you can view images.

If you are using OS android 10 and above and still have issues with viewing images on the app please let me know. State what version you use and type of device and I'll have it looked into further by tech.
