this guy bought a sealed album opened it then played it. 14 days later he contacts me and wants a refund. I ask why? And his answer was “I just don’t like it”. I wasn’t cheeky and said we not sell it on then as it’s now opened and no use to me. I got threats of my friends are policemen blah blah and then EBay refund him in full and I have no £40 Dexys record. Is this fair? I’m utter disgusted by eBay action as the guy is obviously a fraud and anyone can see that.  I’ve been a good seller for years now but this is so frustrating as there no support for sellers Ai nonsense drive us all crazy.

Did your buyer open an eBay item not as described return?

If they opened a 'change of mind' or 'didn't like it' you could have declined the return and kept the payment.

If you declined a not as described return though, or didn't respond, then eBay may just refund the buyer.

Can we have some more info please?
