The buyer should contact the courier themselves. There's usually a link on the tracking details at their end for them to give another address or safe place.

I don't think you can. Anyway, you wouldn't be complying with ebay's seller protection. Probably best to let it return to you and you refund the buyer afterwards.

It looks like you use eBay Global Shipping on your items,was this used for the item you sent to Italy?
If so the item if returned,would go to Pitney Bowes the sender not you
If you did use Global Shipping you are not responsible for the parcel once it's been accepted at the shipping centre and they wont change the address.Ask the buyer to open an item not received case and reply in the case details that it was a GSP parcel and you are not responsible,add the tracking to GSP you used and eBay will refund the buyer if anyone does but they may put a temporary hold on your funds in the meantime this will be removed later.
