Contacting eBay to check message logs

How do i get eBay to check a sellers messages to see if he was contacted by a failed bidder after i won an auction. The item disappearance was highly suspicious and i want ebay to check as i think seller just sold it to someone else..

I very much doubt that eBay would do anything I'm afraid.
