Contact Seller message not working

I'm trying to ask the seller if the unit he is selling is compatible with my heater. I try sending pics of the details of my unit but the message fails and displays small red exclamation marks one for each of the two pics and the text.

Anybody know what's going on and if there is a work around?

Only you know what you are saying in the message. If ebay or their robots think you are trying to arrange an off ebay deal, then it will not be allowed..

Thanks John, I kind of guessed it would be something like this. Seems pretty pointless having the contact option if you can't ask a relevant question .

Further to my response, I suspect there is a technical issue. I've since tried sending a simple Hello as a message and it was also rejected.
I sent the same "previous" message to another vendor and it went through ok.
