Cancelling after buyer not responding

Hi I sold a carpet cleaner & order stated collection. After numerous messages to the buyer to arrange collection he didn’t respond so I cancelled the order so as I could relist. Now it says I owe him £45 but I was never paid the £45? Is this money going to be taken out of my back so I am -£45? Or is it just the £45 that eBay had held until sale completed?

Ebay will deduct the refund from your linked bank account and then pass the buyer's payment to you.

This means you may be out of pocket for a short time.

Unless you have already cancelled, in fairness, I think you should give the buyer a few more days to get back to you.

It looks as if they only bought the item on 11th and they have paid showing they are a genuine buyer.
