Buyer sent message asking to post to different address

Hi, I sold an item last night and shortly afterwards the buyer sent me a message asking to post the item to an address, which is different to the one in the order. Since it's quite easy to change the delivery address when placing an order, I found the request a bit unusual. Could this be some sort of scam? Am I ok to post to the requested address (manually changing the address on eBay's prepaid label) without it affecting my seller protection?

Only post to the address on the order details to retain seller protection.

If the buyer is saying they have the incorrect address on there ebay account, then you can cancel the transaction ask them to correct the error or use the different address at checkout to buy again
