Hello.
Sold retro gaming console this week. Brand new, well packed, delivered on time.
Got message last night saying:
”Not really happy seems like a dodgy scam from buying the device”
I never had a message from buyer before, and did panic a bit. My initial reaction was, the buyer may be intend on abusing money back guarantee promise, and I reported message, saying just that and asking for advice.
Now having slept over it, may be I’m over reacting, and I’m not confident I’ll get any reply/advice from eBay.
How shall proceed? I didn’t reply to the buyer yet.
Thank you.

I'm not sure you need to reply. If the buyer thinks the item was not described correctly they can and should start a return on ebay. If they are just messaging they could be angling for a partial refund which you do not have to offer. When buyers go on the offensive like that that's often what they want. So I would leave it for now and see what happens. You may not hear from them again.
And it might be a good idea to put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

You're welcome. Hopefully nothing else will happen but if they do open a return be sure to get the item back first before refunding their money.
