Background for pics- Advice

Hello, I have a quick question. I am putting my items for sale. When I add my graphics, I have a white background, but when I add them to the eBay product, the background becomes grey, no matter what I seem to do.  I have only viewed them in the preview so far. So the question is, because it is a preview, are they grey, or should they be white as intended, or is something not working properly? I am using the web, not the mobile app. Thanks

Cannot see that you have anything listed, but are you aware that even after completing a listing and going live it is still possible to edit pics. 

You just go to listing click edit, go to pic. double click on the pic needing editing and play with the brightness etc. until you get what you want.
