BMW C400x handguards

I sold a pair of handguards and the buyer said they were the wrong ones because he didn't know how to fit them even though we exchanged messages of how they are to be fitted and I had to go through a returns process, I paid for the initial postage and also for the returns label which amounted to £7.00, I'm a genuine helpful seller and I lost out because of his stupidity, I've blocked him from buying anything else from me.

Re: BMW C400x handguards

If you have a Returns Accepted Policy  on your listings you can accept the return for the reason ' does not fit'  but the buyer pays for the return.

If the buyer opens the wrong case , that is,  one for item not as described,  you are left with paying for the return,  then trying to fight your corner with eBay proving the wrong case was opened,  and you have lost a postage payment.

Not an easy route,  I'll forewarn you !

I accept that I've lost out, I had a returns not accepted policy on the listing but that is worthless if ebay helps the confused buyer.  All of the messages between me and the "buyer" can be seen by the ebay officials and it proves how wrong the "buyer" was,  I'm only glad that it wasn't a heavier item which would have cost me more but I not going to beg for £7.
