Auction withdrawn due to VeRO Brand Name Misuse Policy

Hi,

My auction was withdrawn as I unwittingly used a brand name in my auction description that I shouldn't have.

I can relist this item in three days I think.

Can I edit the old auction listing or do I need to create it from scratch?

Read your warning email very carefully.  Does it say you can relist in 3 days?  Then,  it will also explain exactly which part of the descrtiption you have to omit.

At a guess what you must never do,  is for example list a handbag and say it is in the style of a Chanel handbag,  that is keyword spamming and search and browse manipularton.

I wouldn't relist. You have had it removed once, it will be flagged if you relist and it is still the same item whether you mention a Brand Name or not.

It is the Brand Owner who does not like their items being sold on ebay, so however you list you are still likely to be reported.

A second offence might lead to a suspension.

If I am allowed to say, I used the term "spin bike" in my item description.

"Spin" and "Spinning" are brand protected.

I hope that if I remove this reference in my relist it will be ok.
