I have had an item removed from my listings as they say it is a restricted item (Shimano R8000 crankset).
The government restriction is only on certain dates of manufacture which are highlighted on each item (See attachment). This item was manufactured after the restriction day as indicated by the date code on it (UA which is Jan 2002) however it was still removed.
I appealed the decision showing evidence of the date of manufacture for the recall and the date codes on my item however the appeal was refused.
How can I change this decision as there is no basis to have this item removed ?
Is there a process where I can take this forward as the item should not be restricted.

Many issues on ebay can give out automated responses like AI,who have no idea what is relevant,so best not waste anymore of your time and simply don't try and relist on ebay or your account could gain a defect for trying.

You could try customer services some teams are based in India, Philippines etc so won't be aware of certain UK Government requirements.
Early morning calls to CS can be handled by Dublin, eBay Customer Service
